Mukhyamantri Nishchay Swayam Sahayata Bhatta

A monthly allowance for unemployed youth who have passed Class 12, until they find work or begin further studies. We check your eligibility and help you apply.

Kushal Yuva Program (KYP)

Free training in communication skills, basic computing and soft skills — often available alongside the Student Credit Card, and genuinely useful at interview time.

Is there any charge for counselling?
No. The first counselling session is completely free, whether you speak to us on the phone or visit our Arrah office. You decide what to do next only after you have heard our honest assessment.
Who is eligible for the Bihar Student Credit Card?
Broadly, a student who is a resident of Bihar, has passed Class 12 (or an equivalent examination), and has secured admission to a recognised institution for higher education. There are also conditions relating to age and the type of course. Share your details with us and we will tell you exactly where you stand.
Do I need to pledge property or arrange a guarantor?
Under the Student Credit Card Yojana, collateral and a guarantor are generally not required. For larger conventional bank education loans, a bank may sometimes ask for security — we make that clear to you upfront rather than after you have applied.
Can you guarantee that my loan will be sanctioned?
No — and anyone who promises you a guaranteed sanction is not being truthful. The final decision rests with the DRCC and the bank. What we do guarantee is accurate information, a complete and correct set of documents, and consistent follow-up, so your application is not rejected over a small avoidable mistake.
My marks are low. Can I still get admission somewhere?
Yes. There are options at every score range — degree programmes, diplomas, polytechnic and ITI courses. We will tell you what is realistically achievable rather than selling you a dream that doesn't exist.
Do you help with colleges outside Bihar as well?
Yes. Along with institutes within Bihar, our programmes include institutes outside the state such as GNIOT and GIMS in Greater Noida. During counselling we present both options, with the fees and living costs for each.
Which documents should I keep ready?
Typically: Aadhaar card, residential (domicile) certificate, income certificate, Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets, the admission letter and fee structure from your college, bank account details and passport-size photographs. We give you a precise checklist once we know which scheme applies to you.
Does your support continue after admission?
Yes. We stay involved through hostel arrangements, the fee instalment schedule, scholarship renewals and the loan disbursal. You are welcome to call or message us at any point afterwards.
